We will make health promotion accessible to the Western
Australian community through innovative technologies.
Wise Realities is a not-for-profit established as a research organisation inspired by its founder, Dr Ali Fardinpour, experience after graduation. The lack of structured support for talented researchers became the motivation for a ground-breaking research organisation that provides the opportunity for young scholars to reach their potential by working alongside like-minded peers.
Wise Realities was established with the purpose of promoting and advancing health, through providing a supporting and motivating environment for new as well as experienced innovative researchers, and creating opportunities for synergic collaboration between industry, academia and community.
Between 2017 and 2020 we have trained researchers, clinicians and students how to use Extended Reality (XR) technologies in health and medicine; we advocated for XR Healthcare and successfully engaged different stakeholders in discussions that led to the adoption of XR technologies in healthcare in Western Australia.
By the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, we recognised the need for mental health and wellness in communities across Western Australia. Accordingly, our board has decided to adopt a new vision to deliver ubiquitous and affordable innovative mental health and wellness through Virtual Reality technologies for the Western Australian community.
To be the leader in innovative technologies for equity of access in health and wellness to communities in their diversity.
To build and deliver innovative solutions to provide accessible and affordable health for all.
